About

MAN this is tough.  If I could outsource the task of Introducing Thyself, I would.  Not because I don’t want to meet you–I do–or because I’m unfriendly–I am (I think).  I just never know what to say.  So here are some things about me, in no particular order:

-My name is Danguole.  ”Do you have a nickname?”  No, I’m sorry.  People tried–nothing sticks (nothing I like, anyway).  But I’ll answer to anything!  Try me.

-I’d tell you exactly how old I am, but then I’ll forget to update this.

-I’m from Kaunas, Lithuania, currently living in Reno, Nevada.  I’m still brainstorming the perfect fusion dish/drink of the two, if only to amuse myself.

-I hope you already know I like food and drink.  Moving on!

-I really like bad TV (shoutout, Teen Mom!) and good music.  I would prattle off High Fidelity Top 5 lists all day long if I could, it’s true.

-I love any kind of travel, but road trips really are the best.

-I want to be Kramer from Seinfeld when I grow up.  That guy just LIVES, you know?  Doesn’t worry about anything, just lives.

Thanks for stopping by!
XO, Danguole

  1. Hi there! Got such a kick out of your sense of humor I slapped your blog right into Google Reader, but thought you might like to know that when I see it in my blogroll, it says “title unknown” – don’t know how you fix that, but thought it deserved a heads-up. Love your writing – and go rock the turtlenecks. I’d still be wearing them too, if I lived in a colder climate!! ;)

    • Aw, thanks so much, Sara!

I think I’ve fixed the Google Reader thing, so thanks for pointing that out.

It’s totally obnoxious to leave it on your blog, but I’m sort of like that sometimes.

  3. Your blog is beautiful! Definitely a new favorite : )

  4. I just found you via 101 Cookbooks! I was eating up her Tahoe pics, and I noticed that you, too, are a Reno native. I must say that living this close to Tahoe is the best part about living in Reno. So, hi neighbor!
