There’s a thing that happened at my place last week, and it surely needs to happen again. I only photographed the least embarrassing part, though; here it is:
There were highbrow (-ish; it’s not diet Hawaiian Punch and vodka, okay?) cocktails, lowbrow food, and even lower-brow entertainment. That’s right, this delicious, garnished drink was enjoyed alongside Hot ‘n Ready pizza/Crazy Bread and 16 and Pregnant.
First of all, I don’t care who you are–Crazy Bread is incredible. If I ever have to talk somebody off the ledge, Crazy Bread will definitely come up in conversation. Maybe that’s why, rightfully, no one will ever let me be a cop. Whatever.
Second of all, this has to become a regular event. I’ll call it high/low/real-low (brow) for short. You’re invited.
Third of all… There is no third of all. Let’s make this and trash it up accordingly.
(recipe from Liquor.com, the best website in the world)
1 shot vodka
2 shots white grape juice
1/2 shot amaretto
1/2 shot fresh lemon juice
Add a handful of ice to a cocktail shaker and pour in all of the ingredients. Cover and shake well, then strain into a lowball glass filled with ice. Garnish with lemon and/or grapes.
